Ustaad Bhagat Singh Overseas Shock: Lifetime Equals HHVM Day 1

Ustaad Bhagat Singh has emerged as a massive disaster at the box office, underperforming Hari Hara Veera Mallu in almost all markets, including overseas territories.

North America Collections: A Historic Low

Hari Hara Veera Mallu, already considered a career-low disaster for Pawan Kalyan, had at least opened to decent numbers in North America, collecting over $900K+ on Day 1 — though that itself was seen as a poor opening for a star hero.

But Ustaad Bhagat Singh has gone even lower. Its full run closing in North America stands at around $796K, which is less than HHVM’s Day 1 opening. This clearly shows the scale of rejection the film faced overseas.

Overseas Market Performance

In the overall overseas market, Hari Hara Veera Mallu collected around $1.2M on its opening day, whereas Ustaad Bhagat Singh overseas lifetime closing is also in the same $1.2M range — again matching just a single day of HHVM.

Worldwide Box Office: Below ₹100 Cr

Worldwide, the situation is no better. Ustaad Bhagat Singh has closed under ₹100 Cr, becoming the only film of Pawan Kalyan post-COVID to finish below the ₹100 Cr mark. Even disasters like Bro and Hari Hara Veera Mallu managed to cross ₹100 Cr in their full runs.

Overall, Ustaad Bhagat Singh stands out as a much bigger disaster, underperforming even when compared to an already low benchmark like Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
